APS was established in 2005 and through continued growth we have expanded our services providing specialist electrical, fire and security (CCTV and alarm) and structured cabling services for commercial and industrial premises such as offices, warehouses, factories, retail establishments and churches.

Founded in 1901, the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) is the UK’s leading trade association representing  contractors who design, install, inspect, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and service.
The aim of the ECA is to ensure that electrical installation work is undertaken by qualified people to high standards of quality and safety and to terms which are equitable to the customer and installer.

All Electrical work carried out by APS is Guaranteed for compliance with current regulations for a period of 6 years and is independently underwritten by the ECA (a copy of the policy is available on request and a copy will be included in quotations).

Domestic work is regulated through our membership of ELECSA, (Part P Notifiable Work) www.elecsa.co.uk/partp.aspx.

As of the 1st January 2005, it is necessary for all installations of notifiable electrical work in domestic dwellings to be certified as being in compliance with  PartP of the regulations.

APS  are also approved by the Trusted Trades for Government Endorsed Standards.

APS is fully insured and carries £10M public liability insurance and £250,000 efficacy cover.
